Casella Waste Systems, Inc. has opened a search for a Resource Solutions Coordinator to join our team to assist in the execution of our Customer Solutions sales organization which supports industrial, institutional, commercial and municipal segments nationwide.

Essential Job Functions/Key Accountabilities:

Sales Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between sales organization, Strategic Account Services team and other Casella departments; effectively communicating and exchanging customer information between participating stakeholders
  • Assist with completing and organizing Request for Proposal responses, presentations and associated packages
  • Maintain CRM data and support Account Managers in entering requisite customer information
  • Manage contract database in SharePoint, ensuring agreements are fully executed and up to date
  • Work with Account Managers to manage contract expiration dates and account profitability
  • Administer customer satisfaction surveys and reports for entire department
  • Support development of content for newsletter and social media platforms; execute marketing strategy to promote new business
  • Coordinate and organize sponsorship, conference and event activities
  • Act as a backup for certificates of insurance and retail hauler documentation execution
  • Provide administrative support to department

Inside Sales

  • In collaboration with Senior Business Managers and Account Managers, prospect opportunities in specific geographies and complete correspondence with customers to generate interest/opportunities/meetings
  • Work with Account Managers to schedule customer appointments as applicable
  • Support the execution of inbound project work – start to finish – and monitor FDA and other related sites
  • Prepare content and qualifications packages for new business opportunities and organize this information in SharePoint
  • As directed by Manager, research and qualify new vendors and outlets
  • Utilize CRM to track and manage activities and results

Position Qualifications

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent verbal, digital, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient use of Office 365 and related platforms
  • Understanding of social media communication strategies and tactics

Experience

Required

  • History of succeeding in collaborative environments

Preferred

  • Direct sales or sales coordination experience
  • Experience or interest in environmental and or sustainability field

Education

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • Formal training or coursework in writing, marketing,  or communications

Other Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Travel – occasional travel
