Supporting Campus Zero-Waste

Casella made a $10,000 donation to the University of Connecticut Office of Sustainability to support a graduate fellowship for a zero-waste coordinator. The Zero Waste Program Coordinator will play a key role in advancing UConn’s Zero Waste efforts.

Willimantic employees recognized as Community Champions

Casella employees Mark DiMauro, Jr, and Brett Mastroianni were recognized for their efforts in leading our Willimantic Hauling division to crush their volunteer goal. They engaged 40 of their teammates and 23 organizations in the greater Willimantic area to contribute their time and talent to support their community.
