Need to check your service day? Recycle collection will occur every other week on Tuesday. The first recycling pickup will be Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.

Trash Service East Bangor Borough

All You Need to Know About

Whitetail Disposal is proud to partner with East Bangor Borough to provide weekly trash and bi-weekly recycling service to it’s residents.

  • Up to five (5) thirty-five (35) gallon containers not to exceed sixty (60) pounds per container.

  • Please make sure to have your waste curbside Monday night for collection on Tuesday.

We cannot take:

  • Hazardous waste including radioactive, reactive, toxic, ignitable, corrosive, or acidic items.

  • E-waste including televisions, computers, etc.

  • C & D including materials resulting from construction, remodeling, repair or demolition operations.

East Bangor Borough Bulk Waste

Each residential property shall be entitled to place one item of bulk waste at the curb each week.

Large items of refuse including, furniture, carpet, mattresses, and non-freon based appliances normally generated at a residential property.

  • This does not include construction debris: waste building materials resulting from construction, remodeling, repair or demolition operations.

Mattresses and Toilets

For our employees’ safety:

  • Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic.

  • Toilets must be bagged.

While it is not required, it is very helpful to contact our Municipality Department by 12pm on Friday.

Whitetail Disposal has partnered with East Bangor Borough to provide a year round yard waste disposal program

Bags of yard waste may be placed out in place your standard MSW containers/bags each week.

  • Leaves, branches (1-1/2″in diameter & 3′ long) and shrubbery.

  • All leaf/yardwaste must be contained in brown bio-degradable bags

Grass Clippings

Must be placed in bio-degradable bags on your normal garbage day.

How do I bundle extra cardboard?

  1. Breakdown and flatten all boxes.

  2. Stack boxes neatly.

  3. Secure with tape or twine.

Bundles should be 4′ long x 1′ thick or less.

One (1) bundle per week can be put out next to the recycling cart.
