Municipal Waste Services Kenhorst Borough

Each residential property may place out bulk items or extra bags after purchasing a bulk trash tag from Borough Hall.

Annual bulk pickup day: October 7th, 2026

• This does not include construction debris: waste building materials resulting from construction, remodeling, repair or demolition operations. This also does not include electronic waste.

Mattresses and Toilets

For our employees’ safety:

• Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic.

• Toilets must be bagged.
  

Fall Bulk Collection

• Up to 5 items per house hold may be placed curbside during this collection (no C&D or E-waste)

• Collection will occur on October 7th, 2026.
  
  

How to Schedule

A bulk trash tag must be purchased at Borough Hall ($14 each) for extra containers, bags and small bulk items.

Whitetail Disposal has partnered with Kenhorst Borough to provide a yard waste disposal program

Bags of yard waste may be placed out in placed in brown paper yard waste bags or bundles each week between March 15 and Dec 15th.

• Leaves, branches (1-1/2″in diameter & 3′ long) and shrubbery.

• All leaf/yard waste must be contained in brown bio-degradable bags no plastic bags will be accepted

Christmas Tree Collection

• Christmas trees will be collected weekly in January with trash.

• All trees over 4 1/2 feet must be cut in half.

• All decorations, tinsel, and lights must be removed.
  
  

Grass Clippings

Must be placed in bio-degradable bag on your normal garbage day.
