Heidi Jenkins-Gibson is a wife, mother, grandmother, and advocate who chose purpose after unimaginable loss. When her husband, Erich Jenkins, a fitness professional and former professional football player, was tragically killed in a roadway accident, Heidi’s life was forever changed. Erich was a “life changer”—someone who was dedicated to helping improve the lives of those around him. Today, Heidi carries that spirit forward by raising awareness about the importance of putting safety first while on the road and reminding others of the power of one that resides in us all. Her message is grounded in a simple truth: every person around you is someone’s family member. Through her advocacy and the work of The Erich Jenkins Change‑A‑Life Foundation, Heidi continues Erich’s legacy with one guiding belief: save lives so hopes and dreams can endure.
