How Casella Recycles Organics

We use several recovery and processing methods to transform waste into new resources, including:

  • Composting: Produces earthlife® nutrient-rich soils for farms and gardens.

  • Anaerobic digestion: Converts food and biosolid waste into renewable natural gas (RNG).

  • Land application: Returns valuable nutrients back to the soil to support agricultural growth.
