Mattress Recycling Solutions
Casella provides mattress recycling solutions for all types of customers, including municipalities, colleges and universities, hotels, mattress retailers, and individuals. Our recycling facilities annually process more than 200,000 mattresses, recovering thousands of tons of material each year.

Packaged Food Waste Recovery
In 2021, we built Vermont’s first organics depackaging facility. We use a mechanical process to separate food waste from packaging so both streams can be recovered. The food and beverage material are delivered to anaerobic digesters to make biogas, and most of the empty packaging material is recycled.

Casella has created a suite of training offerings to help future drivers obtain the skills, knowledge, and safety awareness they need to succeed. The Kenneth A. Hier Sr. CDL Training Center has graduated hundreds of drivers, enabling them to achieve their commercial driver’s license free of charge.
