During tough weather conditions in the winter months, it can become incredibly challenging to keep our operations running smoothly while supporting the needs of our customers.
We value serving our customers and greatly appreciate your patience and business throughout the year. At this time we thought it would be wise to reinforce our commitment to service during challenging weather conditions.
First off, routine winter snowstorms will not prevent us from operating. However, there are certain exceptions that will prevent us from operating inclement challenging weather. For example, in the case of a declared state of emergency, we must always abide by the directive of local authorities. Other exceptions may include situations where a thaw-freeze cycle has created roads which are impassable due to icing, or a severe blizzard has caused whiteout conditions that reduce visibility to an unsafe level.
Ultimately, it is the responsibility of our local General Managers to ensure that our customers, our employees, and the communities we serve are not placed in imminent danger.
You have our commitment that we will operate as often as possible, and should service be interrupted, we then focus on getting caught up and serving your needs as quickly as possible.
You can do your part to help us better serve you by placing containers in unobstructed areas, clear of snow or ice. Keep the area around your container salted, sanded, and shoveled out. Also, if applicable, please ensure that corrals are accessible and the entire area around each dumpster or compactor has been cleared. We appreciate your help in helping us serve you better.
If you have any questions or concerns related to your service please call us at 800-CASELLA.
