Casella is excited to extend its partnership with the City of Old Town and convert its collection to an automated system. This page will provide all necessary information residents will need to understand the changes to the City’s curbside collection program.
Trash and recycling collection occurs every week on your service day, either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
Here is the holiday schedule for the year after service begins:
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 27, 2024: One-day Delay for all service days
- Independence Day: Thursday, July 4, 2024: One-day Delay for Thursday and Friday service days
- Labor Day: Monday, September 2, 2024: One-day Delay for all service days
