Casella is excited to extend its partnership with the Town of Belmont and convert its collection to an automated system. This page will provide all the necessary information Belmont residents will need to understand the changes to the Town’s curbside collection program.

Trash collection occurs weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Recycling collection occurs every other week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting the week of January 9, 2023.

Here is the holiday schedule for the year after service begins:

• Christmas: Monday, December 25, 2023: Monday collection one day delay, Wednesday and Friday on schedule

• New Year's Day: Monday January 1, 2024: Monday collection one day delay Wednesday and Friday routes on schedule

Please take note of these key dates:

• December 6-15, 2022 – One trash and one recycling cart will be delivered to each residence eligible for curbside collection.

• December 26-30, 2022 – Casella will collect and dispose of unwanted bins and barrels. Please write “Take with Trash” on container.

• January 2, 2023 – Start of automated collection.
